Portillo's Restaurant Group

Not the best visitor of the restaurant in elmhurst il, but every holiday we get a chocolate cake. This recent christmas we decided to change things up. We ordered an Eclair cake. For 30 dollars it was just terrible. Not one person in our family liked it. Portillos had run out of aluminium windows take out pans so they have me a cake in an aluminum solid pan asking i return it. Today i returned it with most of the crack in the pan still in tack. I did receive an I'm sorry. But for 30 bucks a coupon for a couple of dogs would have been nice. Never going to get the eclair cake again..

Called Corporate to compliment the Manager for unusually good customer service and solving a delivery service problem for the order I placed yesterday thru Door Dash Delivery Service because Door Dasher made the mistake and didn't respond back. The Oswego Ilinois Store Manager Jim delivered my order personally rather than just cancel it when I called to report the food had never been delivered .I called basically for a refund for the food that was never delivered but got way more than I ever expected.This Manager made my day and I had what I think is the Best italian Beef Sandwich for my dinner here at home.Thank you for excellent customer service, even when things go wrong:)

I was recently planing a party and I thought of Portillo's. I picked up a menu and was surprised the only thing on the menu was a nice picture of the entree and a calorie count. Kind of hard to budget a party when there are no prices anywhere. Called Portillio's and the girl taking the order did not know prices, had to wait for manager. After going over the menu with the manager to establish prices and about 20 minutes on phone finally had the answers to my questions. Terrible policy they have enacted on the catering side. Due to the fact there are no set prices for dishes will no longer utilize Portillo's for future gatherings.
